Secondary Facial Surgery

Secondary Facelift Surgery, Minor or Mini Facelift Surgery

Facelift patients commonly ask how long their facelift will last. No matter what procedure they have undergone initially, a patient will always look younger and will continue to do so even five, 10 or 15 years later than if they had not had the procedure performed. The aging process continues; however, a secondary facial procedure can be accomplished very easily to maintain the results.

Dr. Harris enjoys performing minor lifting and tightening procedures, as well as adding further volume with structural facial fat grafting for some patients. This minor procedure can usually be performed under local anesthesia with minimal downtime. However, there may exist a circumstance when a patient ages more rapidly or perhaps has lost more facial volume with weight-loss. If this is the case, the patient might benefit from a full secondary facelift procedure. His preference for the secondary facelift procedure is to perform less lifting and tightening followed by the utilization of adding significant facial volume with structured fat grafting for a more natural lasting result.
